THE VILLA LEGRAND
The castle of Mme Cornet more commonly called Villa Legrand is located on the west shore of the Meuse, where it dominates the Plant park.
The house and the garden are characteristic of a certain Mosan style of the nineteenth century and constitutes one of the most beautiful entrances of the city.
The magisterial entrance of the house, located at the top of its own garden, faces the avenue of the plant and imposes itself in front of the park in a theatrical way.
At first the dispersion of volumes allows for smaller templates to be set up on the plot, and the creation of a new building on the main street.
The project is then made possible by the unevenness existing in the field,
the views on the park of each other are maintained.
